Cuban donuts

    1 teaspoon of salt
    1 teaspoon of yeast
    125 ml of hot milk (half a glass)
    60 ml of hot water
    2 boxes of bread flour
    2 tablespoons of white sugar
    ½ stick of butter
    1 dash of vanilla
    1 egg

Put the milk, water, sugar (I used brown or black sugar because I didn't have white sugar with so many candies I made) and yeast. I let it sit for 15 minutes for the yeast to dissolve, then added the egg, half stick of butter (there was no butter either, so I replaced it with 30 ml of oil), salt and the 2 cans of flour (they I say that when I started adding the flour, I only had 1½ so I replaced the other half can that I was missing with cornstarch) I mix everything and it should form a compact paste. This I let it rest for 2 hours so that the dough doubles its size (if after this time the dough has not grown and is not so compact it is because of the cornstarch but calm down it is fine,
